SOLUTIONS: IDEAL AND NON IDEAL SOLUTION
Ideal solution :-> The solutions which obeys raoult's law over entire range of concentration are known as ideal solutions. * During mixing of two solution the enthalpy change and volume change must be equal to zero. * Example:- chloromethane and bromomethane, Chlorobenzene and bromobenzene, benzene and Toluene. Non- Ideal Solution :-> The solutions which does not obeys raoult's law over entire range of concentration are known as non-ideal solutions. * During mixing of two solution there will be enthalpy change and volume change. * Example:- Acetone and benzene, Acetone and chloroform. * Non- Ideal Solution two types:- (a) Positive Deviation (b) Negative Deviation (a) Positive Deviation Graph of positive deviation (b) Negative Deviation Graph of negative deviation
